Rapport – You will learn specific strategies that allow you to put others at ease in seconds and quickly increase your own comfort in the presence of others.

Sensory Acuity – By learning to read other people's body language and tone of voice, you'll develop a deeper, speedier understanding of what's going on beneath the surface. Imagine learning to listen with your eyes as well as your ears. Well-developed sensory acuity skills allow you to interpret the mood of a person or a roomful of people and adjust your responses to maintain and increase rapport. This skill also helps you to receive accurate feedback on your own internal states and emotions, bringing unconscious behaviors and patterns to conscious recognition.

Anchoring Formats- You'll enhance your peak performance and learn how to improve any situation by discovering how to make all your resources available when you want them. Here you will learn to 'step out' of your own experience in order to gain a new and more useful perspective. Using this skill allows you to find new ways to deal with difficult situations. You'll acquire the tools to transform the impact of past events and effectively accomplish behavioral changes in your life … with little time and less effort.

Running Your Own Brain - Success with Submodalities – In this section you will learn about the unconscious building blocks of your structure of reality. You will also learn how rearranging them can create profound inner change. You'll learn to recognize and utilize the NLP Representational Systems – visual, auditory and kinesthetic, and their finer distinctions – or submodalities. You'll be able to identify eye movements, language patterns and physiology that indicates the 'model of the world' of another person. You'll master the NLP Phobia/Trauma pattern, well-known for its ability to cure most phobias in a single session.

Precision Language and Information Gathering – Discover the secrets of successful and efficient information-gathering, how to know what questions to ask and why, and the impact your language patterns have on others. You'll discover the skill of creating well-formed and compelling outcomes that are ecological by making sure that the changes you make are good for you and all others involved.

Milton Model - Language Patterns of Influence – Would you like to use your own voice to subtly relieve stress and anxiety in others? In this section of the Training, you will learn to use the hypnotic language patterns developed by the 20th century's greatest clinical hypnotherapist, Milton H. Erickson, MD. We cover specific patterns for creating receptive states of mind and mastering the use of your own voice tone, tempo, and patterns of speech as you hone your previous skills of sensory acuity, rapport, and information gathering.

Negotiation Skills - Influencing with Integrity – You'll learn to recognize and sort out what is happening when a person is sending two conflicting messages as well as how to resolve internal conflicts in yourself and others. These skills will enable you to negotiate more effectively by developing greater mental flexibility and precision.

Six-Step Reframing - Communicating with the Unconscious - Unlock the hidden resources of your unconscious mind as you expand your negotiating and reframing skills. Complex interventions such as Six-Step Reframing will give you a precise way to uncover and address all of the unconscious concerns that have prevented you from getting what you want. Emphasis is on understanding and preserving ecology and balance to ensure that changes are congruent and lasting.

Metaphor - the most respectful form of communication, focuses on the masterful use of effective metaphors in your communication as you further integrate the skills and patterns previously learned. Precision therapeutic metaphors and conversational storytelling can provide a powerful way to assist those around in making changes gracefully. You'll discover that any NLP technique can be 'embedded' within a metaphor, further enhancing your behavioral flexibility.

Synthesis, Consolidation and Skills Integration – The final days of your Practitioner Training will focus on deeper level absorption of your skills as you work on more complex integrative techniques. This is the time to put together all of the skills you have learned into a seamless package.

The Training Team

The NLP Comprehensive Training Team is the foundation of NLP Comprehensive's reputation for training excellence. The Training Staff is comprised of three key groups of people who work closely together to ensure the success of your training. They are the Trainers, the Program Coordinators and the Program Coaches.

Our Trainers are internationally renowned and their dedication to the field of NLP supports a quality learning experience for each participant and the group as a whole. The Trainer leads the group through presentations, demonstrations, discussions and exercises. Our team of experienced Trainers creates variety and synergy in the overall learning experience.

Trainers This Summer Include:

Tom Best has trained NLP internationally NLP Trainer for the last 25 years. Tom and his wife Bobbi currently direct Best Resources / Texas Institute of NLP, an NLP training and consulting company based in San Antonio, Texas. His background in cultural anthropology and his experience with indigenous people has led him to investigate many of the connections between Neuro-Linguistic Programming and traditional or “primitive” cultural practices in the fields of health, spirituality, cultural systems, and personal identity. His current area of interest is the interface between personal identity and the cultural matrix from which it evolves.

Jan Prince is a psychotherapist and executive coach. Trained in NLP by NLP Comprehensive in 1984 she developed a variety of nlp based therapeutic models. These resulted in the book " From the Inside Out – Building a Healthy Identity" which is published in English, Finnish, and German. She has provided personal coaching, conflict management training, meeting facilitation, and interpersonal communication training to individuals and international corporations since 1983. She has helped people identify their personal and professional goals, the strategies to achieve success, and how to identify and overcome the internal as well as external obstacles to that success.

Charles Faulkner

A prolific innovator, Charles has pioneered methods for accelerated language learning, as well as medical and financial decision-making. He is particularly well-known for his work with futures traders and his research on the role of "metaphor" in communication and behavior. Charles is the author of Metaphors of Identity, Submodalities: An Inside View of Your Mind, Worlds Within a Word, The Essence of Intuition, The Mythic Wheel of Life, Creating Irresistible Influence with NLP, co-author of NLP In Action, and chief architect and co-author of NLP:The New Technology of Achievement and Success Mastery with NLP.

The Program Team

The Training Coordinator provides leadership for the Coaching Team and ensures a smooth transition between trainers. The Coordinator attends to the many details of the learning environment. They work closely with the coaches to help meet your training outcomes. The Coordinator also works closely with each Trainer, making refinements to the training in response to the group's pace, needs and special interests.

The Program Coaches provide continued personal support and coaching in techniques and processes. Your Coaching Team is comprised of Certified NLP Practitioners and Master Practitioners who trained to answer questions and help you fully integrate your learning. The Coaches work with you to ensure you meet your training goals. They are committed to making a difference in the world and they bring resources from a diverse range of professions.

Lodging and Training Location

Beaver Village Condominiums is located in a secluded forested setting with spectacular views of the Continental Divide. Each condo has a full kitchen, living room, dining room, gas or wood burning fireplace and private balcony. The centrally located Clubhouse is our Training location, and offers a heated indoor pool, hot tubs, sauna,guest laundry and high speed complimentary wireless internet service. The town of Winter Park is a short easy walk, for dining, shopping and nightlife.
