We had such a strong response to the “NLP Case Study: Phobia Cure 25 year follow up” that I’m going to post both the original session and the follow up next week!

Putting NLP To Work For You – Practice and Weed Whackers
————–
"We cannot become what we need to be by remaining what we are.” Max DePree
A while ago, I noticed that the weeds in my yard had gotten out of control. I decided a weed whacker would be the solution. After doing all the research, I settled on a model and went down to the local store and bought one. I carefully cleaned out a spot in my garage and set it there.
A few weeks later, I looked out at my yard, and the weeds were still there!
Disappointing? I'd researched and diligently purchased the best tool to deal with the situation. I’d stored it carefully and safely. To whom should I complain? The manufacturer, the store? That would be pretty silly, wouldn't it? Having the tool doesn't produce the result. I had to get it out of the package and use it.
Sound familiar?
Last month I was chatting with one NLP student, and she said "the course was great – and I still haven't seen any changes!"
I asked her how have you been applying it? She paused, and asked what I meant.
“How have you been applying what you've learned here, in your life, to yourself, so far?”
"Oh, you mean I actually have to use it?" she grinned.
So many times when someone complains that NLP doesn’t work the best response is simply "How have you used it?" "How have you applied it in your situation?"
NLP isn't a theoretical body of knowledge. It is experience based and for it to work, you need to experience it!
Three great things about NLP
1. NLP usually produces at least a partial positive result the first time you try it.
2. No belief required. That’s right, it really doesn’t matter what you think, whether you think it’s a load of nonsense or not.
3. Even beginners can produce amazing results. Then it just gets better with repeated practice.
However, if all you do is read about it, or sit in a seminar and never use it outside that training room, who can you complain to – and about what, exactly?
So – get that NLP tool out, even if you are not sure how to use it, and try it. All you have to lose is your issues, stuckness and fears.
Use the tips and suggestions offered in our free resources section – our NLP Library. Step up and invest $15 and buy a copy of "NLP: The New Technology of Achievement" – read it, and do the processes involved.
Honest, none of this or anything else will do you any good on the shelf. You have to make a choice for yourself and pick up the NLP tools and put them to work for you.
If you've already experienced NLP, you know what a big difference it can make, so send this along to a friend or two.
If you haven't really tried applying NLP, starting now is a good idea. Or do you want to continue in the same stuckness that brought you here in the first place?
Best regards,
Tom Dotz

Or forward this to whoever you know that runs an NLP Center. Believe me they’d rather get this twice than miss out once.
