NLP: The New Technology of Change
Practical Skills for Coaches and Change Leaders
Facing change? Aren’t we all?
During one of the “wildest rides” most of us can remember … we are face-to-face with basic fears: What can we rely on? What can we trust? Where is the sign of relief and something better?
· What are YOU doing, now, for your clients, your team, and your company – to improve your outlook and prepare for recovery?
· How do you ensure that you become MORE valuable at work, set yourself apart for promotion, build a stronger team, create a stronger more profitable enterprise?
· What will help you provide better advice to your clients?
· How do you help yourself and others stay focused on the positive?
Where is the opportunity to coach and encourage others to take steady action toward change, when so much is uncertain?
Join us for a powerful new workshop to help your clients, team or organization navigate change more simply and easily, in ways that really work.
Come away with practical skills you can apply immediately
to create positive movement in any change situation,
regardless of how complex or hopeless it may seem!
Nobody loves change, especially when it’s out of our control and “takes away” something we have come to expect and enjoy. Events that force us to adapt, also force us to examine outdated assumptions, move through our own resistance, and see our “control” issues.
What sets apart the few rare souls who respond to change as an adventure, from the rest of us?
Approaching change with optimism and using it to create opportunity is a learned skill — not a natural tendency for human beings. Approximately 3 out of every 4 change efforts fail in the organizational world. If you are leading change, you need to arm yourself with the latest approaches to communication, planning, decision making, self-reliance, and influencing. The right toolkit can make a BIG difference.
While I internalized a number of potent skills during the New Technology of Change workshop it has been my internal change that has been most remarkable (and slightly mysterious). I am seeing solutions in a new way and am more resourceful, fluid, and patient. The mysterious part is that I can’t point to the moment this change occurred nor can I say it is always conscious. What I can say is that it is real, extremely valuable, and good fun. –Dan Jolliff, Site Human Resources Director, Avago Technologies, Ft. Collins, Colorado
Workshop Purpose
The New Technology of Change offers fresh approaches to driving true buy-in, commitment, and passion in people during change.
A client of the workshop facilitators recently said “We have the books, the training, and the road maps. We need to learn what makes someone really want to adapt themselves to the changes our business is facing.”
The answer to that question is The New Technology of Change workshop – providing practical skills for coaches and change agents that can be applied immediately to create positive movement in any change situation, no matter how complex or hopeless it may seem!
Gerry is one of the preeminent NLP trainers to work within the rigorous NLP Comprehensive trainer development program. For the past 10 years, he has been working in the corporate world, helping to manage large-scale culture change programs. His partner, Lisa Jackson managed NLP Comprehensive for several years, after which she built a tremendously successful coaching and “leadership planning” practice.
“I applied what I learned in this workshop right away to transform several very important relationships within my organization. It’s amazing how you get no resistance when you learn how to effectively pave the way for change! These tools have altered forever what it means to “be the change I want to see in the world.” — Jamie Kingsley, Senior Vice President, Hawkeye Partners, LP

If you choose to learn these skills, you can be masterful at reliably moving a person or group from Point A to Point B — without fallout – no matter how complex or chaotic the situation may be.
Who Should Attend
Coaches, consultants (internal or external), and line executives who want to learn simpler and more effective methods for helping people and organizations create buy-in to change.
This workshop was designed for people without NLP training or background. For someone with major NLP training, please contact us directly to explore if it is a good fit.
What You Will Take Away
1. Improved ability to work with the #1 driver of real change.
2. Ten core beliefs of a change agent, and a plan to “own” them
3. A model of the “magical” ability to affect change without unintended side effects (e.g., “buyer’s remorse”, feeling manipulated, “that’s too woo-woo”, etc.).
4. Use of precise language as a tool for building commitment and directing attention.
5. Simple and systemic intervention structures and tools.
6. Improved confidence to facilitate client-focused movement and change-capacity in ANY situation, no matter how complex, unpredictable or chaotic.
7. A personally transformational experience …
As a champion, leader, and facilitator of change in a corporation, it’s imperative to understand what accelerates or inhibits people to embrace change. Businesses of all sizes need to be able to quickly adapt to customer needs and adjust to changing competitive pressures. The New Technology of Change work is practically focused where change begins: Adaptability at the personal level, and tools to directly improve organizational change efforts. The methodologies taught in this work are valuable for anyone interested in freeing themselves, other individuals, or an organization up to make true change happen. –Bekki Smith, VP of HR in a Fortune 200 company
