I've used the EMI with children and adults for PTSD, fear of tests, anxiety with flying, generalized anxiety disorder, relaxation prior to giving a presentation, and more. It's very simple and really works. Way to go Steve! Many have been helped with this process. Thanks.

Steve rarely travels any more - except to Hawaii on holiday. :-)

As for Jan, she'll be teaching at our Summer Programs in Winter Park. I"ll announce it when she does an EMI bit. If you really wanted her to come to the UK, hosting such a training would be the most certain way.

Best regards,
Tom

Hi Duncan,
We do have a DVD of this process available. It's linked in the last paragraph. I'll 'bold' it to make it more obvious.
As far as Jan going to the UK, I'll pass it along.
Maybe to Jo's conference? :-)

thank you for your generous sharing.
I have also been using the moving-anxiety-change the rotation/ technique I learned at Steve's advanced Master's program in Colorado last year. (not sure of the name) I love NLP strategies.
I began training with G and B near their beginning in mid 70's. peace. ron soderquist, westlake village, ca.

Jan Prince article fascinating but gives no clear breakdown of 'how to do' the eye movements. I could use this technique NOW with clients. How about something practical being done here - surely Jan could make a short DVD of exactly how the technique works - and you could sell it on here. 'Outcome' Income for you and more talented therapists with more satisfied clients worldwide !! Simple really ! Duncan. Norwich. UK Any chance of Jan Prince visting the UK to do a workshop, then let me know.

As a feldenkrais practitioner. I use eye lessons from Moshe Feldenkrais work to stimulate and relax the eyes. The diagonal patterns and box is the same as the nlp version.A common thread.Thanks.Jan.Charles.Velez.GCFP2001.

Hi you guys,

Thanks for clarifying part of the EMI article (and for all your other info -- much appreciated). The EMI piece still isn't quite explicit about the process, unfortunately.
Is the "X movement with a box around it" intended to mean that the X movement should be done eight times followed by eight reps of the box? Or is it better to do the X once, followed by the box once, and rep that whole sequence eight times?

Or does it all depend on what I want on the day I do it??? That's gotta be it.

Thanks,
Bob
